During my 30-year career I have held senior sales roles with Aries Systems, Elsevier, OCLC, The Charlesworth Group, Thomson Learning (Cengage) and the British Standards Institution (BSI). I am a CIPD qualified trainer. Over the last eight years I have been helping publishers to optimise their editorial and production workflows, including peer review, submission, integrating new tools and author services.

In early 2023, I decided to take the plunge into the exciting (and initially daunting) world of consultancy. I am currently engaged as growth partner by Kriyadocs, providing ongoing consultancy around business development and industry outreach, but I am also available for additional short-term projects with publishers and society clients, and vendors not involved in the editorial or production workflow space.

Since late 2020 I have been based in France, living in the rural tranquility* of the Creuse region with my better half Jemma.
